This 2024 legislation session was once again a busy one for public safety and law enforcement! Many sheriffs and peace officers from around the state spent time at the Capitol helping to educate lawmakers in topics related to public safety, crime prevention, and wellness programs for law enforcement professionals. On April 30th CSOC hosted breakfast at the Capitol as part of our Spring Conference. Sheriffs and Undersheriffs came from across Colorado to share coffee and conversation with all legislators. In addition, we took advantage of opportunities for providing testimony on a number of bills affecting the Office of Sheriff and public safety throughout the session.
